The Lunar Gold Coin Mouse from 2020 marks the entry into the new Lunar Series III.
As in previous series, the Perth Mint annually strikes a new animal motif with special significance inspired by the Chinese lunar calendar. Those born in the Year of the Mouse are often considered very sociable, adaptable, optimistic, good at sensing dangers, and therefore cautious, but very optimistic.
Due to the partly low mintage and popularity especially among coin collectors, significant premiums can be expected on the purchase price. The mintage of this coin is limited to 30,000 pieces worldwide.
