Each motif has a very special meaning. The zodiac sign of the Dog and all those born in the Year of the Dog are considered loyal, sincere, accommodating, lovable, reserved, and prudent.

Due to the partly low mintage and its popularity especially among coin collectors, significant premiums can be expected on the purchase price. The mintage of this coin is limited to 30,000 pieces. Thus, the collector's value of this coin increases enormously.
