The shimmering surface provides the perfect backdrop for engravers Helmut Andexlinger and Thomas Pesendorfer. The detailed depiction on the value side shows Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man as a robot in the red niobium core. Arms and legs touch the transition to the silver ring. In the lower half of the coin, a binary code appears on the left as a symbol of the interplay between electronics and mechanics, and three gears on the right.

The red color corresponds with the Martian landscape on the second side of the coin. Here, a Mars robot is currently in action, modeled after designs from the European Space Agency. The six-wheeled robot, equipped with solar collectors, a camera, and a drilling system, is currently conducting a deep drilling operation. The silver ring sparkles with the starry sky, and a part of the Earth is also visible on the right edge.

With a maximum mintage of 65,000 pieces, this coin was released in 'Handcrafted' quality. 'Robotics' consists of 900 silver in the outer ring and pure niobium inside. Each coin is packaged in both a capsule and a box. A special certificate guarantees its authenticity.
